The wax is applied in small areas in the direction of hair growth. A cotton strip is used to remove the wax and hair in the opposite direction. At the end of the session, the beautician cleans the area to remove excess wax and applies a soothing gel to your skin. The duration of a waxing session varies between 5 and 45 minutes, depending on the areas to be waxed. You should avoid sun exposure for 2 days following waxing.
